The Resource Center for the History of Entrepreneurship is dedicated to the compilation and provision of information and resources on Japanese entrepreneurship and the modernization and industrialization of Japan. Part of this includes facilitating the exchange of information between Japan and the rest of the world, namely providing information and facilitating accessibility to information on Japan in English as well as providing information from outside of Japan in Japanese. One example of this is the related links pages on the Center’s website, one list dedicated to business history and shashi (published volumes of corporate history) and the other to nishik-e (colored woodblock prints).

The provision of English-language information by Japanese institutions, companies, or other organizations not only increases information on Japan available to foreign audiences, but also contributes to the internationalization of the organization itself. To both assist English-language users and shine a spotlight on efforts being made by Japanese organizations to reach foreign audiences, the Center periodically chooses links from its links lists to showcase on the blog.
